Today, let’s put the spotlight on BIOPROTECT Burkina, a company that started with seed financing and was converted into an equity investment.

For more than 10 years, BIOPROTECT Burkina, under the leadership of Mr. Arsène Savadogo, has been transforming agriculture by offering sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions. The company produces and markets biostimulants (organic fertilizers) and biopesticides, while helping farmers adopt responsible farming practices.

• 12,000 tonnes of fertilizer production capacity
• 150,000 litres of biopesticides produced
• +5,000 hectares of degraded land restored
• +4,000 partner smallholder producers impacted

Since SINERGI Burkina’s support, BIOPROTECT has been able to:

• Modernise its production chain thanks to new equipment
• Expand its network of organic producers
• Strengthen its governance and improve its operational standards

A lasting impact:
BIOPROTECT actively contributes to the restoration of agricultural land and the promotion of organic farming. By enhancing the value of local products such as cotton, sesame, and fruits and vegetables, the company plays a major role in food security and sustainable development in Burkina Faso.
